Dr. Damien P. Charles D.C.
Dr. Damien Charles, a Clearfield County native, graduated from New York Chiropractic College in 2012. It was during his high school years at Clearfield Area High School that he decided he wanted to become a chiropractor. He completed his undergraduate studies at Lock Haven University of Pennsylvania, before enrolling in New York Chiropractic College in Seneca Falls, New York. NYCC, this year's American Chiropractic Association's Chiropractic College of the Year, offered extensive, scientific based training. Dr. Charles completed his internship in Buffalo, New York, where he was able to work hands-on with patients. After graduation, he returned to his home town of Clearfield to open his practice.
Dr. Charles is dedicated to offering the most effective chiropractic care to his patients. He believes that performing a thorough exam to pinpoint the trouble areas, is far more effective than x-ray images for non-trauma injuries. He takes a more detailed approach to diagnosis and treatment than is commonly accepted in the chiropractic field. He educates his patients on every aspect of his diagnosis and treatment and takes the time to answer any questions or address concerns.
He also instructs his patients on how to properly stretch and use heat/cold therapy at home. Each visit is custom tailored to properly assess that individual's needs. His effective, non-invasive treatments, help to get the patients feeling better quickly.
Dr. Charles is also an avid outdoorsman, enjoying fishing, camping and hiking.
